This is inform you all that, and most of you know Kerala God’s own Country is in big trouble, most of the places are still under water and most of the places are without power, water etc. for last five days.
The unprecedented massive rain fall has created havoc in Kerala and has caused loss of lives as well as unimaginable destruction of property. Kerala is reeling from one of its worst flooding disasters in decades.
The death toll has risen to around 300 plus official and many are still missing.
Red Alert is sounded in all 14 districts, while the hilly districts Wayanad and Idukky have been cut-off from the rest of the state due to landslides on the ghat roads. Shutters of 33 Dams (of 39) have been opened, including that of Mullapperiyar. 41 Rivers (out of 44) are overflowing well past the red mark
Cochin International Airport has been closed till 26th August 2018 as the runway has been engulfed.
Our favourite summer destination, the lush green Munnar has been submerged. KSRTC and Railway have cancelled many of the bus and train services. Hundreds of houses and establishments across the state have been submerged already. Roads and bridges are either broken or swallowed up by the flood water.
More than ten thousand people have been shifted to rehabilitation camps. Hundreds of people have left their hard earned properties and have taken refuge at safer places with their relatives.
Friends, this is the time to act. People of Kerala are in need of help. Please contribute in whatever way you can. The need of the hour is to pool all of our resources and help those who are in dire need. There are many parts of Kerala which are still submerged, and rescue efforts and operations are underway. It is at this time that any monetary contribution will go a very long way in providing relief to those affected.
We from Modern Plastics India Team made arrangements with a organisation in Kerala for rescuing projects Excel Emerald Team is started working for last three days along with fire force, military, para force.
We are already working and mobilising funds for essential commodities, medicines and clothing has been purchased. This is being distributed among the needy in Kerala.
We are continuing our efforts in mobilising further fundsd, we are also requesting other fellow associations, business men to contribute generously to this noble cause.
Any one who need 80G certificate will be issued from once of the NGO who don’t want 80G can contribute via Emerald.
